I own and have tried many many diaper bags. This one is perfect. I have a six month old, a two year old, and a four year old and it fits everything I need. You can wear it cross body to keep your hands free which is a huge benefit with kids. It has stroller straps that can easily and quickly clip onto shopping carts and strollers, leaving room for groceries and items purchased at stores or freeing up stroller basket space. I love this bag! I'm on baby #2 so I feel like I learned a lot from the first one. What I really love about this bag is that empty, it is a VERY light weight bag. I compared to other bags, some that were over a hundred dollars more than this one, and this was very light weight. I didn't want to lug around 20+ pounds of baby gear on one shoulder then a baby in the other arm. I love the gripped straps on the side that attach to a stroller! What a great idea! Also love the expandable feature, although I'm sure I'll never wear it closed up. First of all, I have a tendency to over pack for outings and second, I love the orange accent in the middle! My favorite part about this bag is that it is very classy looking. I wasn't about to lug around a "character" themed diaper bag on my shoulder. HOLY GRAIL OF DIAPER BAGS
I'm no diaper bag newbie- I have a 3 and 2 year olds and i've been thru many high end diaper bags (petunia, storsak, other skip hops, ju ju be's...) so my review is a good one! this bag is SO amazing for the price. VERY similar to the storksak emily but less than half the price and a bit larger which when you have two kids is better! So much room for everything without looking silly when not as full for errands or a quick trip. Can be packed with tons of stuff for a longer day out too. Don't know why anyone mentions the fabric seeming cheap; it seems very nice and silky yet strong to me. Love the four outter pockets on front and a small zipped one for my iphone- great for my small bits and keys and sunglasses as well. This bag is SO stylish and practical, i just love it to pieces! I LOVE this bag. I got it in the cream link pattern, and it feels so trendy without being over-done. What I love best about it are ALL the pockets- none of them are superfluous, they are all easy to access, and extremely practical. I love that the changing pad pocket is on the outside, making it easy to access all the diapering stuff when pinning down a wiggling poopy child. I love the roomy diaper pockets on the inside, the cell phone/pacifier pocket (my daughter doesn't use a pacifier so I co-opted the pocket for my cell and it's perfect! No more digging!). The ONLY complaint I have is the coloring. I love the contrast of orange and cream, but I thought when I go ordered it that it would be more of a white than a dark beige. Love love looooove this bag. I have gotten tons of compliments on it. It is well made, hardware accents very nice and has enough space for everything I need for baby. I am a mother of two, and my youngest is almost two. I felt inclined to write a review because this diaper bag is one of my absolute favorites! I am a bit of a diaper bag hoarder and have purchased a ridiculous amount trying to find "the right one." I have my trusty Petunia Pickle Bottom Sashay Satchel and more Ju Ju Be's than I care to admit, but I always seem to come back to my Skip Hop bags. In my opinion the Dash is not for infants, but is perfect for toddlers. The fabric is sturdy, well-made, hides dirt, and the shoulder strap is very comfortable. It has many pockets and I feel like everything has its place. The outside has two front pockets, two side bottle pockets, and one back changing pad pocket. The inside has one large slip pocket on the front side, two slip pockets on the other side, a "hidden" zippered mommy pocket, and two smaller pockets on each side that house the stroller straps but can also fit bottles or slim sippies. After thorough research, I decided purchase this bag and I'm very happy with my purchase. The design is cute and surprisingly matches to all kinds of outfits I wear. It has pockets outside that are useful for quick baby needs and cell phone, wallet, and car keys. it is very light weight and the padding on shoulder fits comfortably. The only reason I didn't give 5 star is because it is little too tight inside space when you put stuff in outside pockets. Even when you don't put so much stuff in outside pockets, the inside space is only enough for one set of baby clothes, 3 diapers, wipes, small snacks, and a receiving blanket, and the bag rarely closes. I still use it all the time, though. It is good size for daily use for one baby. I'm about to have 2nd so I'm thinking to buy a bigger one of Skip Hop. They make great bags for sure!

Nixon Dash bag - a little small, a little beige
I have the Nixon Dash bag, and overall, I like it! There are tons of handy pockets, I like the flap-over closure (magnetic), I like the option for snapping the bag over stroller handles, the pockets are insulated and cushioned, and the fabric design is very modern and cool. HOWEVER, please note that the color is beige and black, not white and black. I suppose this is a good thing for stains and wear and tear... I was just surprised. Another gripe is the size. TOO SMALL, but just barely. I suppose it forces you to only take what you need, but I wish it were just a tad bigger - newborns require a lot of stuff! (Change of clothes, washcloths, burp rags, blankies, diapers, wipes, creams, pacis, bottles... and of course Mom stuff. Forget your purse, you'll put your chapstick, wallet and keys in this thing!) Also of note, the inner zipper broke after three months of light use. Not that big of deal, but somewhat disappointing. I wish it also had straps to put on as a backpack, but I guess...

Great bag...Both looks and function
I already had a backpack style diaper bag which I liked ok...but it got to be a pain if I needed to grab something out of it. I had looked at the diaper dude bags before but didn't want to spend the extra cash. I ended up breaking down and buying one and haven't regretted it a bit. This bag has lots of room with several outer pockets to place frequently used items. If I need to get anything out of the bag I don't have to take it off to see what I'm doing, which I had to do with my backpack style bag. Plus the looks can't be beat....a variety of patterns in a handy messenger style bag.

If only it were larger
I liked the idea of having a messenger-style diaper bag as opposed to the more prevalent tote-styles. The Diaper Dude bag is ok, but there are a few items that would make it better for my needs.My biggest wish is that the main compartment were larger. It's fairly small and when we put in all the things we'd like to carry, the bag gets stuffed and becomes somewhat misshapen to the point where it lays awkward on my hip and back. I tend to carry portable wipes, 4-5 diapers, 1-2 change of clothes, a hat, a blanket, a sippy cup, a snack trap, a couple of toys, my cell phone and keys. Because I can't find a place for everything, the main inside compartment is a mishmash of unorganized items.The cell phone holder does a fine job holding my LG flip phone. A bigger phone however wouldn't fit, but $15 for a Timbuk2 cell phone case would solve that. Also, the elasticized bottle pocket is pretty snug so getting a bottle in and out is kinda tough. This bag is very comfortable to wear, and the size and location of the zippered pockets in the front, the snap-closure pocket on the back, and the pockets in the larger main compartment makes it easy to keep things organized and easy to find. We've only been using the bag for a few weeks, so I can't speak to its durability, but the construction appears solid, and the zippers work easily.The only negatives are the smallish mobile phone holder (won't hold anything much bigger than a standard flip phone), and the fact that the interior is lined in black, which makes it harder to see items in the bag.
