Real factory replacement
Bought this clutch for my 98 Civic EX that had 160000 miles on the original clutch. This is the same company that makes the OEM clutch. This is less than 1/3 the price of the clutch from Honda yet made in the same factory to the same specs. Clutch pedal is light and engagement is smooth. I look forward to another 150000 miles of trouble-free performance. This kit comes with everything you need for a complete clutch replacement (all wear parts). Don't bother with the other brands.

What to expect?!
Arrived as described, perhaps a bit more... detailed instructions for novice mechanics, great alignment 411... Few months later my 98 civic is still capable of laying rubber (should i need it to)! You get what you need, a new clutch! Replaced it on my own (busted knuckles were't included) but it's something you get when trying to save! Over-All i'm happy with the purchase!

Everything you need to work on cars or trucks with fan clutches that need removal to allow room for work to be performed. I also used the pulley holder to keep the harmonic balancer in place during removal and installation.I am looking forward to starting on some project cars that will have fan clutches on them. A must have for water pump service, radiator work (for the room) and changing out the fan clutch. Multiple attachments and hooks on the end make the pulley holder a versatile tool. Every fan wrench you may need is included. Strong tools and a good value from Amazon.

perfect addition to my garage
This tool is PERFECT for removing automotive fan clutches. This kit will remove almost any fan clutch. It fits my 2000 jeep grand cherokee 4.0L perfectly and my 1994 ford crown vic 4.6L perfectly. Makes the hassle of removing the clutch easy. The pictures do not show how thick the steel is...and how durable the tools are (thick steel and VERY durable). This a well made tool. The molded plastic case fits everything perfectly. I am very glad I bought this tool set and highly recommend it!

washer repair
worked like a champ to repair a "kirkland" branded whirpool. Watched a few you-tube how-too's & it was a snap. Added some water-proof grease to the wear areas.Noticed some small leakage of oil starting from the transmission..... I think the slipping clutch causes extra heat in that area...not good! So don't wait too long to fix.... (washer trans is way too expense to replace!)Anyway, my washer is now working fine & spinning faster than it has in ages!.... and the transmission seems to have survived!Well packed parts, fast shipping & included instructions. (but goggle the repair & watch a few videos)

Works for a while
Replacing the clutch will work for about 6 months or so. The real problem is that newer models don't have slot in spin tube for retaining clip. This causes the bearing to wear out early in the spin tube assembly. The other problem is that this design is based on a 30 year old design. I viewed some repair videos and they show the vintage clutch design was a solid pad all the way around. Now it is only 3 small pads that wear out faster.
